Giving

At Lemonceillo Home & Gift we are proud to partner with companies and entrepreneurs who have a giving component to their business model. We value supporting communities in need and fellow small business owners who are striving to offer environmentally responsible, ethical and sustainable products.

After a tragic bombing in Ukraine, one of the last surviving artifacts was a ceramic rooster in the kitchen window of a home in the village of Borodyanka. Today, the rooster has become a symbol of hope worldwide. In 2022, VIETRI pledges to donate 10% of all Gallo proceeds to UNICEF in support of Ukrainian relief efforts.

Quilling Cards became Fair Trade Verified with the Fair Trade Federation in 2015. The organization focuses on maintaining a code of values for treatment of employees. In 2014, they opened their first factory in Vietnam, employing over 100 quillers and providing a stable, safe work environment with healthcare and food benefits. They eventually opened a second factory so they have now given jobs to over 500 locals.

Societal aid for people with disabilities is not the same as it is in the US and Canada, and often leaves people out of work and hopeless. Quilling Cards have set up a program where these community members can come take their supplies and complete work in their home, on their own time. They are paid per piece they finish and are able to create beautiful work they otherwise would not have the chance to do.

XS Unified is committed to ethical manufacturing and treating their workers with dignity and respect. They only work with factories that have a WRAP Certification (Worldwide Responsible Accreditation Production). This ensures a commitment to uphold social and ethical business standards.

XS Unified donates 1% of annual sales to the Facing the World Foundation to facilitate life-changing surgery for children with facial differences.

XS Unified is committed to reducing waste and using eco-friendly dyes. They design all products in-house with sustainability in mind. Their cap line is made using deadstock / overstock fabric. This is fabric already existing making it more energy efficient than producing new fabric and potentially keeping unwanted materials out of landfills.

Since 2016, Caswell-Massey has taken large steps to eliminate non-recyclable plastics to lessen our carbon footprint. They manufacture many of their products in a solar-powered facility. And they have initiated partnerships with the New York Botanical Garden and Yellowstone Forever to raise awareness about their important conservation efforts and to celebrate our planet’s natural beauty through the medium they know best: scent.
